Welcome to notafish.org, where notafish teaches you to swim in intercultural waters
From a medieval town in Southern France...
Born in Southern France where my roots still linger, I lived in France, the US and Austria and studied Political Sciences and International Communication. I now live in Germany and pride myself in speaking 4 languages with only a hint of a French accent.
...through wine and wikis...
I started my career in the wine industry, working in the cellar with an Australian wine maker, moved on to logistics and sales for a French wine producer. I then changed course to become an Event Manager, working on projects for a wide range of companies (among which Orange, Ford, Sony, Trivial Pursuit and Microsoft). By editing a wiki, I then entered the non-profit sector and worked for the Wikimedia Foundation (the organisation behind Wikipedia). I organized Wikimedia's international community conferences in Frankfurt, Harvard Law School and the Library of Alexandria and for three years, coordinated the development of 17 national Wikimedia Chapters across 4 continents.
...to the global village
Cross country, across cultures, I swim in intercultural waters and try to look at the world with simple eyes. I offer intercultural training and consulting, ranging from strategic management of intercultural teams to intercultural awareness and development, working with international teams and for an international audience. I advise companies, organisations and individuals alike. I provide them with insight and tools to work effectively and stress-free in today's global village. I am amazed at people in general and still wonder why the Germans are always on time.
